Krystle Hutton has been teaching music for nine years, which includes directing choirs of various ages, early childhood music, general music, and providing private music instruction on guitar, piano, and voice. She is currently in her fifth year with Montgomery County Public Schools teaching elementary general music and chorus. She has earned a Master of Business Administration and Master of Science in Nonprofit and Association Management from the University of Maryland University College and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Music Vocal Performance and minor in Spanish from Frostburg State University. While at Frostburg State University she toured in China with the University Chamber Choir, performed with the University Chorale, Gospel Choir, Jazz Ensemble, and Opera Theater which included the opportunity to perform as The Mother in Amahl and the Night Visitors and Rosalinde in Die Fledermaus. She is currently working on a Master of Music Education at the Shenandoah Conservatory of Music at Shenandoah University in their summer intensive program. She is also a soprano in Silver Spring's premier young professional choir Six Degree Singers. She is currently a member of the National Association for Music Education, Maryland Music Educators Association, and the American Choral Directors Association.
